Santa Barbara Camp: Architecture and Interior Design for Kids Using REAL Building Material (NEW)

By Kidz Engineering 101

Make a Beautiful World!

Come join us for fun activities and projects while learning Architecture and Interior Design, a combination of: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.

Build a mini structure from ground up using REAL building material while learning and exercising the triad of Project Management: cost, scope and schedule.

Design Build Truss 2013

Our Design/Build with REAL Building Material and Interior Design camp includes building a mini architectural model using material such as concrete, wood, and tiles, and are designed with seismic tie-downs and structurally designed roof truss. Design your own furniture and decorate your rooms with elegant fabric, leather, wall paper and carefully selected accent pieces. Take home your project and make it an educational conversation piece!

Academics taught by Irene Rinta, American Institute of Architects Associate.

My son Evan is interested in attending this camp next week with his best friend, Kabir, who is already enrolled. Will you please let me know if a spot opens up?

Irene provided an engaging, hands on activity for my students, complete with essential background information and real world connections. My students really enjoyed planning a model city built to withstand natural disasters, and Irene helped them test their plan in creative and innovative ways.
