Sponsorship Needed

For Underserved Kids and Teens

Kidz Engineering 101, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation (FEIN No. 461567865) teaching Architecture Engineering to youth in grade levels 2nd thru 10th through summer camps in Santa Barbara.   It has been in business for over 6 years run by volunteers.  The Founder/President is Irene Rinta.  She has a degree in Bachelors of Science in Architecture and has been the main Teacher and Volunteer since the beginning of its business, giving over 1,500 hours of free service every year.
KE101 has been approached by underserved families seeking sponsorship. However, we cannot afford to provide much.  If you could please be so kind as to give us some donation, it will greatly benefit children of our community.  We are having an exhibit this summer to raise funds for sponsorship. Any amount or another form of donation will work (i.e. gift certificate, raffle items, or goods).
You may also come to our exhibit to see our students’ projects and join us for some little games designed by kids.  This will be on August 9th, 2019 Friday, from 12:30 to 2:00 and is by invitation only.  If you are interested, please let me know and I’ll send you an invitation.

Irene provided an engaging, hands on activity for my students, complete with essential background information and real world connections. My students really enjoyed planning a model city built to withstand natural disasters, and Irene helped them test their plan in creative and innovative ways.
